namibiago.com sets no cookies. No advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party pixels, no fingerprinting. That is why you are not seeing a consent banner — under the EU ePrivacy Directive one is only required when a site stores or reads information on your device beyond what is strictly necessary, and we do not.

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar service. Fonts are served from our own servers, not from a font CDN, so loading this page sends nothing to a third party.

If that ever changes, this page changes first and a consent banner appears before any non-essential cookie is set.

What our server does see

Like any web server, ours records standard request information — your IP address, the page requested, timestamp, and your browser's user-agent string. This is used only to serve the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a functioning, secure website. These logs are kept for up to 90 days.

The waitlist form

When you join the NamibiaGo waitlist, we collect:

• Your email address — required, so we can contact you.
• Your name — optional.
• Whether you are a traveller or a business — so we send you the right thing.

What we use it for: telling you when NamibiaGo launches, and early-access information relevant to the group you chose. That is all. The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form.

What we do not do with it: we do not sell it, rent it, share it with advertisers, or add you to unrelated mailing lists.

Where it is stored: in our Supabase database, the same infrastructure the app uses.

How long: until you ask us to remove you, or until the launch campaign ends and you have not become a user.

How to get off it: use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or email privacy@namibiago.com. We remove you promptly and confirm.

The app is separate

This page covers the website only. What the NamibiaGo mobile app collects — and it is more, because it has to take bookings — is set out in full in the Privacy Policy.

Your rights

You have the same GDPR rights here as everywhere else: access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Exercise them at privacy@namibiago.com, or complain to the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
